                      MANY LIVES MANY CRIES

They say we are lucky to be born in goa,for its harmonious environment and humble people. But for few years now,I am worrying, are we witnessing the same experience, frankly speaking somewhere I have to doubt on the people and my thought process, now the times have changed with the excess growth of advanced technology and changing minds of every single individual.

Few days ago the incident that had occurred in the Mandopa village at Navelim margao goa, have passed a chilling current through my blood streams which shook down my bearings of the entire limits of my body.

I came across this news on the social media and local newspaper,it said 'one newly born baby was found in the bushes ' and two boys named VILAS NAIK,SURAJ MAHTO came into her life as an angels and saved her life, just prior she  succumbs to the jaws of death.
It was 2nd dec 2018,at around 9:30 pm these boys received an call about the baby, when they reached at the spot they saw one new born lying in the bushes near one playground at mandopa, their fellow friends had called them over the phone, soon afterwards when they heard excruciating cries and they found out from where exactly the cries were coming.
Until that time there were no. Of people just standing there but no one could dare to take that baby in their arms and help her, everybody was just watching this stock just being silent and dormant spectators near that spot.
In the hospitals every new born is taken into arms, and is showered by all the love and care that we have.
Everyone is there to welcome him/her in our lives. But this poor little baby girl was lying in the pool of blood and her umbilical chord was coiled up over to her necks, there were all ants over her tiny body, such enough to suck her blood  and sink her breaths to death before we could welcome her in this selfish minded human world. And now she is lying in the ICU Of hospital where there is none of hers own, but only some people to watch over her plight and agony just as a mere duty, and nothing else.

Yes,it is true many families who were lagging child came running to adopt her.But still we cannot term this as 'mercy' because no one else has understood yet,how she must be feeling as a grown up girl,as and when she comes to know that she was dumped somewhere in the bushes just to die?How one can make herself/himself understand that she/he was unwanted right since the moment when he/she has not even started with his/her first cry and breath.where their future is in the dark and that too for the faults and mistakes of others, where this girl is not even responsible.
Whoever it may be,who has done and effected his/her guilty intentions, but one thing is definite from that persons part, that today this person has brought blot towards the way of humanity.
We talk of female infoeticide but apart from terming this case as female infanticide we should term it as clean chit and cold blooded attempt to murder. Because when this baby was found, she was wearing pamper over her, which signfies our mind to say that the parent's couldn't be any illiterate or uneducated characters.
At the same time time,we cannot deny the fact that Indian society is somewhat typical and male dominated society where females have to undergo lot of pressures,
Sometimes this predicaments take place due to teenage pregnancy, preference for boy,and also out Of fear of social stigma.
But let me correct this thinking , if inorder to become social or project yourselves as social being, one has to lower down their positions to that of animals or murderer, then it is of course no longer 'social.’ But a selfish and brutal acts of inhumanity.
This predicament is enough to prove that sometimes humans fall much more worst to that of the animals.
Everyone currently is under wrong impression that this case would be sorted out soon, and baby will be in the safe arms. But here I feel extremely sorry to say that  this has just begun in goa and we don't know how many cases are going to come up in the future?
Presently, there are thousands of questions arising in our young minds out of this shameful act of some unknown person, who is still not beyond bars, this failure will try to serve an wrong lesson to the culprits and the youth as well as what we refer as 'our civilised society '.
On the other hand why is it necessary to jeopardise some innocent soul just for the sake of covering ones defaults, how such people can live with this guilt in their lives?and we are helpless to respect their irrational and illogical thinking unknowingly .
Now a days spreading awareness is not a big challenge, because we are in the era of social media,
But the only thing we must try not to forget, that instead of reacting with smileys, comments, emoji, over the social media ;we must absolutely try to respond.
This society is our home,we have to maintain it,prosper it giving value to every human, irrespective of sex, race, caste, religion: and not just throwing someone out in the wastebins or bushes.
This way we will be heading towards disaster, frustration and spoiled youth and in such a way no one will have any rights or duties to survival.
We have to tackle this,at this initial stages of the problem before it may be widely spreading on to the world.
But this change must start from us,as it is always said the first change is started by common and single individual and then it is spread on to masses.
Hence therefore we should open our eyes now, because now its not a time to be 'soccegad' in our house.
Because we are facing worst enough, everywhere cops cannot stand for us,but 'united' we can stand for each other ,making our land  as a better place of living to everyone. This is our appeal to the Goan society and the world in general that together we can bring lot of difference.we just need to start it independently.so let it start from me,you and every single individually for the welfare of all the souls living in this world.
